About Creation Curls

Creation Curl became a reality after a girl with curls, Kelsey Marie, began exploring down the avenue of creativity. The amount of things that she tried out and became knowledgeable in was wild. She tried sticker making, painting, wood working, gardening, the options were endless. Then she was blessed with a sewing machine from her wonderful grandmother.

It didn’t start right out the gate though… Kelsey didn’t have the right space to let her creativity thrive, so the time was never taken to learn sewing. About a year or so down the road, Kelsey was blessed with the opportunity to make her own sewing space where she can leave a project and pick it right back up where she left off. This space opened the doors for the curls to learn how to sew and be inspired on how many different things that can come with it.

After about a year that it took for Kelsey to master the ways of sewing, she started to dibble dabble in small things such as scrunchies and tote bags, but then she made the leap into upcycled fashion and just absolutely fell in love. The ideas just started flowing through her head with endless possibilities. She always loved thrifting, but now she can turn the thrift finds into one of a kinds.

Each piece of Creation Curl is upcycled and reworked into a one of a kind piece. Some have reason, some do not and that’s okay. Creativity means to be creative and do something different, out of the norm which Creation Curl is doing just that.    

Not every curl will ever be the same, and that’s what makes them stand out. So let’s have fun, stand out & be kind creative beings.
